What would you do!?

Alright so say there's a new believer who haven't heard much about Jesus, what has happened or what will happen. And you have the chance to tell them as much about the word as you can. My question is would you talk to them about the Reveleation? About all the destruction that's going to happen, I mean to be honest it's kind of scary. How do you go from talking about such a loving God to Hell and the judgement day and so on. But I feel like if you don't tell them then your hiding certain things about the word and that's not right, so honestly what would you guys do. Would you tell an unbeliever about the end times or save it for another day?

  1. I wouldn't start talking to them about revelation because it's a topic that I don't even fully understand. I would start from basics like who God is and then move on to more in depth topics. I would probably mention that these are the end times and that Christ is coming back to receive his bride soon.

  2. to be honest I don't think that's my job. as long as I share about my god, as a gateway in a loving manner then everything else should follow through God's servants such as pastors

  3. If they ask about it then I would. Well as much as I know.

  4. I would certainly mention about the 2nd coming of Jesus, but the stuff in revelation, honestly, I don't even know what it is talking about.

  5. I would agree with the rest of you guys, when its a new believer, I don't think that the agenda is to scare them into the faith. I would share a personal God, a loving God and a nonjudgemental God. Revelation, I don't even understand either but I would leave that to someone more knowledgable because at this point, the idea is to share the love of Christ. The deeper things and things to come, can be taught clarified later.
